Job Description

Our client is a General Contractor searching for Project Engineer with Federal construction experience. The Project Engineer provides technical support for the engineering process and contributes to the completion of a project. This position is responsible for the compilation of project change requests. The project engineer will track project changes for both owners and subcontractors. They will work closely with the Project Manager.

- Responsible for the administration of all aspects of the construction project.
- Assist Project Manager in generating and managing project budgets, cost controls and project related invoicing.
- Coordinates subcontractors, vendors, material suppliers, hired labor forces, inspectors, testing labs and others as required to fulfill the requirements of the schedule and project
- Responsible for the generation of change orders and claim proceedings.
- Familiar with the unique aspects of the job and properly establish and maintain appropriate document control.
- Responsible for timely submittal of all reports as required and/or requested by management or clients.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's in Construction Management or Engineering.
- 2+ years of project experience working in the construction industry required
- Experience with Federal construction sites preferred
- Proficient with MS Office Suite of tools, Procore, exposure to schedule software, preferably Primavera (P6) preferred
