Job Description

The Engineers will be assigned to a project that requires utility pole design mapping. They will be given survey packets of the poles they are mapping. These surveys were collected by the people out in the field. With the survey packets they will know the geographic location of the poles and the different assets (wires, boxes, etc.) attached to each pole. They will use all this information to digitally create the design "distribution" map.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5-9 years of experience within utilities design or engineer

- An Associates or Bachelor's Degree within a similar field

- EIT or planning on receiving PE or FE

- Background within a similar industry such as power distribution, engineering, utilities, telecom, fiber, etc

o Prefers an electrical degree, drafting and design is also acceptable

- distribution design expertise in various project types such as system improvements, large-scale reconductor or new installation projects, OH/UG (Overhead/Underground) relocation work, TXDOT relocation projects, OH to UG conversion projects, voltage conversion projects, and structural analysis proficiency
