An EPC firm in Beaumont, TX is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their client at a plant site in Beaumont. This individual will be responsible for the below:
- Provide required engineering deliverables (i.e. engineering packages) that provide sufficient definition so that Mechanical can execute scope of work (IFC packages, weld quality control forms, M-specs, repair plans, etc.)
- Review design and calculations for engineered clamps and wraps
- Coordinate and manage special emphasis engineering programs to provide engineering recommendations and deliverables to the business teams and mechanical
- Report out to management on progress of those programs and aid in working through barriers to resolve engineering needs
- Support overflow project design basis and engineering reviews detailed drawing and calculation reviews
- Provide field verification and support for mechanical execution as needed
Provide detailed engineering analysis as needed (FFS, weight calculations, lifting and rigging reviews, etc.)
