Job Description

Were looking for a high-impact VP of Digital Marketing to oversee and build out the digital strategy and accelerate our growth from 30 to 100+ gyms in the next three years. This role is ideal for a leader who thrives on building a best-in-class digital marketing team from the ground up. This is both a strategic and execution-focused leadership role for someone who thrives in high-growth, fast-paced environments. This leader will architect and scale a high-performing digital marketing function that drives lead generation, membership conversion, and brand growth across both new and mature markets.

Digital Strategy & Growth Enablement:
· Develop and lead a comprehensive digital strategy aligned with aggressive growth targets and multi-unit operational objectives.
· Design and scale an in-house media buying team to support 100+ locations across paid search, social, programmatic, and emerging channels.
· Drive cross-functional digital initiatives that directly impact revenue, brand engagement, and new unit success.
· Partner with CMO and cross-departmental stakeholders to ensure digital is a business driver not just a marketing function.

Customer Acquisition & Digital Experience:
· Champion lifecycle marketing, retention strategies, and loyalty programs to extend LTV.
· Leverage data and behavioral insights to improve the digital customer journey from awareness to conversion to advocacy.

Technology, Data, and Analytics
· Own and optimize the digital infrastructure including website, CMS, media platforms, POS integrations, and marketing automation tools.
· Lead and build the automation of performance dashboards, GA4 reporting, and attribution models that track the impact of every dollar spent.
· Ensure digital programs are measurable, repeatable, and scalable with visibility into KPIs at the unit level and enterprise level.
· Allocate budget dynamically based on real-time performance data and market-specific trends.
· Translate insights into actionable strategies that maximize lead quality and conversion.
· Use advanced data analysis to determine the most effective marketing channels per market.

Leadership & Collaboration:
· Build, coach, and scale a high-performing internal digital marketing team.
· Foster deep partnerships across Marketing, Finance, Ops, and Tech to drive holistic success.
· Manage an annual digital media budget of +$15M driving efficiency, ROI, and continuous optimization.
· Oversee vendor partnerships with accountability, performance benchmarks, and clear deliverables.
· Continue to foster strong relationship with Crunch corporate.
· The VP of Digital Marketing will motivate and inspire high-performing, cross functional organization, balancing engagement and performance.

Required Skills & Experience

· Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science or related field (MBA preferred).
· 10+ years of progressive digital experience; 5+ years in a senior or executive digital leadership role.
· Proven success in building and scaling internal digital media buying teams.
· Deep expertise in multi-location environments and growth-stage businesses.
· Strong background in paid media, Meta, analytics, attribution, customer journey optimization, and MarTech integration.
· Experience developing dashboards, predictive models, segmentation, and A/B testing frameworks.
· Financial fluency understands unit economics, CAC/LTV, ROI modeling, and budget management.
· Exceptional leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Ecommerce/Reoccurring revenue (subscription) experience
- Director or VP level experience
