Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Technical Project Manager to work on site in Austin, TX and support the strategy and introduction of products based on unique and highly differentiated capabilities of a preeminent foundry for semiconductor systems and defense electronics companies. Their mission is to advance the state-of-the-art in critical semiconductor domains such as advanced packaging, and in the process to help restore U.S. leadership in semiconductor manufacturing. They are developing cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing technology that will define future roadmaps of semiconductor devices including logic, memory, 3D packaged devices, including thermal management, etc. This individual will manage end-to-end project execution for facility expansion and upgrades, equipment installations, or process expansions in cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environments. They will ensure schedules are met and critical stakeholders are informed of current progress or roadblocks, and effectively manage highly technical multi-disciplinary teams and projects.

Responsibilities:
Work with key projects to kick off the fab and work with the scheduling of process flows to improve factory efficiency
Manage the full lifecycle of key technical projects within a semiconductor manufacturing environment
Develop, coordinate, oversee, and ensure completion of multiple project task lists and schedules related to the design, fabrication, assembly, and tests of equipment systems.
Manages project implementation including emergent issues with emphasis on time schedule control to ensure all tasks are completed within established deadlines and budgets.
Prepares detailed reports on project progress with stakeholders and team leads to include project plans, barriers and solutions, milestones, financial costs/projections and analyses.
Coordinate with key stakeholders and team leads to manage scope changes.
Manages, develops, directs and evaluates assigned projects utilizing accepted project management methodologies, communication and consultation with stakeholders and project team members.
Interfaces with facilities and outside contractors to coordinate and manage resources.
Coordinate with key stakeholders and team leads to manage scope changes.
Tracks requirements/specifications and changes throughout the product lifecycle.
Other related functions as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience

35+ years of project management experience in semiconductor, advanced manufacturing
Experience managing the full lifecycle of key technical projects within a semiconductor manufacturing environment
Proficient within Microsoft Office
Bachelor's degree in engineering
Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong budget tracking, labor tracking, and scheduling skills
Proficiency in information analyzation and budget setup
Strong scheduling skills and team vision

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Master's degree in engineering
PMP
Experience managing factory/ fab build outs and efficiency projects
Understanding of advanced packaging technologies
