Job Description

Day to Day:
Applies expertise and strategic focus needed to conduct complex operational analyses and leads medium to large project teams that support informed decision making within the business unit. Key responsibilities include reviewing and approving findings to be presented to senior management, conducting statistical analyses, and coordinating with other business units regarding initiatives. Responsible for directing, mentoring and coaching the lower level analysts. Bachelor's degree preferred plus 8 or more years related experience.
1. Develop/modify internal North American Electric Reliability Corporations (NERC) procedures for Operations, and Planning as assigned
2. Update and submit personnel changes to the Compliance and Excellence (C&E) Teams Roles and Responsibility (R&R) matrix for all NEET operating companies
3. Support migration of procedures to NEETs new Document Management platform
4. Reliability Standard Audit Worksheet (RSAW) creation and modification that results in a quality audit ready document
5. Sustainability Assessments evidence review and coordination with Subject Matter Experts, as assigned
6. Other duties as assigned, such as MIDAS reporting and support Order 881 Ambient Adjusted Ratings implementation readiness, as required

Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves:

We are looking for a professional with NERC O&P standards compliance experience that would be officed out of the Lone Star Transmissions (LST) Mesa Oaks office in Austin, TX with strong technical knowledge and writing skills.

Engineering degree required
3+ years experience in NERC operations and planning experience, or utility compliance
Excellent oral and written communication skills 3+ years building and executing a NERC O&P compliance program
Key role experience with a NERC regional entity or a regional transmission organization a plus

Familiarity with compliance software tools and platforms.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Strong project management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
