We are seeking a Senior Professional Services Consultant to lead Epicor Kinetic ERP implementations for their clients. This role requires deep expertise in either manufacturing operations or manufacturing accounting, strong consulting experience, and the ability to work independently with multiple clients.
The consultant will guide customers through best practices, system configurations, and process improvements. This is a remote position with 40% travel, varying based on project needs (go-lives, user acceptance testing, process reviews, and customer meetings). Most projects last 6-18 months and are primarily within the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
Key Responsibilities:
· ERP Implementation & Consulting
· Lead Epicor Kinetic ERP implementations, ensuring successful deployment and adoption.
· Provide expert guidance on either manufacturing operations or accounting workflows.
· Work directly with customers to identify inefficiencies and implement ERP-based solutions.
· Deliver process improvements, ensuring customers maximize ERP functionality.
· Conduct ad hoc consulting sessions (e.g., 8-9 two-hour sessions) and manage multiple concurrent projects (3-5 at a time).
· Customer Engagement & Training
· Guide customers through software walkthroughs and presentations, simulating real-world use cases.
· Provide hands-on training and knowledge sharing with internal teams and customers.
· Support user acceptance testing, go-lives, and system optimization.
· Ensure best practices are implemented for either manufacturing operations or accounting workflows.
· Project Management & Leadership
· Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and executing ERP implementations.
· Mentor junior consultants, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
· Establish strong relationships across Epicor and customer organizations.
· Meet utilization targets and complete deliverables on time and within budget.
· Ability to work across multiple time zones and adjust schedules to align with client needs.
· Strong problem-solving skillsability to adapt on the fly, handle curveball questions, and develop solutions for unique customer challenges.
· 40% travel required (varies by project, including on-site visits for go-lives and UAT sessions).

· 7+ years of experience in manufacturing operations OR accounting.
· Epicor ERP experience required (Epicor Kinetic preferred, but experience with Epicor ERP 10, E10, or Epicor 9 is also valuable).
· ERP implementation experience requiredmust have led ERP rollouts or played a key role in system deployment.
· Strong consulting experience preferredmust be able to guide customers without hand-holding.
Operations-Focused Qualifications:
· Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including:
o Purchasing, sales, inventory control, scheduling, and production operations.
o Understanding of multiple manufacturing industries, such as custom manufacturing, C&S, and injection molding.
· Ability to analyze operational inefficiencies and recommend ERP-driven solutions.
· Experience implementing ERP solutions across multiple manufacturing workflows.
· Familiarity with supply chain, material handling, and shop floor operations.
Accounting-Focused Qualifications:
· Deep understanding of accounting from a manufacturing perspective, including:
o Costing methods, inventory costing, and work order costing.
o Chart of accountsability to guide customers in structuring financial records.
o Intercompany accounting, transfer pricing, and trading.
o Ability to handle massive transaction volumes and reconciliation processes.
· Experience leading accounting sessions with customers (typically 1-2 days).
· Ability to explain debits and credits related to manufacturing, cost of sales, and AP clearing.
· Knowledge of financial reporting structures within Epicor ERP.
