Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Network Engineer for one of our enterprise veterinary clients. This Senior Network Engineer will support network design, deployment, and migration initiatives across a rapidly growing, multi site veterinary hospital network. This hands on, project driven role requires strong network design fundamentals and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, resilient architecture, leading end to end network builds, SD WAN migrations, and wireless deployments while owning multiple concurrent projects and partnering closely with cross functional teams to deliver reliable infrastructure across new and existing locations.

Day to day:
• Lead end to end network design and deployment for new site builds, expansions, and technology refresh initiatives
• Partner with lead architects to deliver scalable, resilient network architectures, owning planning through operational handoff
• Execute SD WAN (VeloCloud) migrations and upgrades, and design/deploy LAN and wireless solutions using Meraki and Aruba
• Configure and manage network security and connectivity, including Palo Alto firewalls, Prisma Access, NAC (ClearPass / ISE), and VPNs (GlobalProtect, IPsec)
• Serve as technical owner for multiple concurrent projects, collaborating across infrastructure, operations, and clinical application teams
• Produce and maintain network documentation and standards, and clearly communicate design decisions to both technical and non technical stakeholders
• Provide advanced network troubleshooting across all OSI layers, including packet capture analysis, bandwidth utilization assessment, and application layer issue resolution

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years experience progressive network engineering experience.
• 3 years minimum in a senior level network engineering role with hands-on implementation experience.
• Experience designing networks for multi-site healthcare, hospitality, or similar complex environment.
• Required technical skills:
o SD WAN & VPN: Arista SD WAN (VeloCloud) deployments and migrations; GlobalProtect and site to site IPsec
o Switching & Wireless: Cisco Meraki or Aruba (AOS/CX) design, deployment, and RF optimization
o Security & SASE: Palo Alto Networks (PAN OS 11.x) and Prisma Access, including policy, NAT, and threat prevention
o Core Networking & NAC: BGP based routing, VLANs, STP, LACP, and NAC with ClearPass / ISE (802.1X)
• CCNP certification

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience with SASE and Zero Trust architecture principles
• Visio network diagramming skills
• Network automation and scripting skills (python & API integrations)
• Experience supporting Clinical/biomedical device networks
• Cisco ISE experience
• Cisco Webex experience
