Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experience Senior Financial Analyst to join the specialty property and casualty group of one of their top clients in the insurance space. This role provides strategic analytical support to operating group leadership and the Corporate Finance team, with a focus on revenue, premium tracking, and budget management for producer business partners. The individual is responsible for management reporting, financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and process improvement, all primarily executed in Excel and Applied Epic. They track the P&L for each group, build forecasting models for potential business scenarios, and analyze carrier bonus structures across varying percentages. As a key liaison between Finance and operational departments, this person handles sensitive financial data and must be a strong communicator, regularly presenting insights to senior leadership, and collaborating with the M&A team. Responsibilities also include designing insightful reports, interpreting financial results, challenging business assumptions, partnering with IT to maintain financial system integrity, and supporting corporate objectives through special projects. The role is considered a specialty within the company's environment, where reporting accuracy and clarity are critical.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years in a hands on FP&A role from an accredited and reputable firm/company. Insurance background is a major plus
• 5+ years and expert level of understanding of Excel. Expertise is the minimum requirement here. Examples are included but not limited to: building and maintaining complex financial models, deep dive analysis using pivot tables and advanced formulas, executive level dashboards and reports, task automation using macros or VBA.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics or Mathematics
