Senior Field Services Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Field Services Engineer for one of our enterprise-level veterinary clients. This Senior Field Services Engineer will be a hands on, field focused technical lead for construction and new site IT deployments. This role owns on site execution of the full IT stack—including data rooms (MDF/IDF), network, servers, endpoints, and voice—ensuring builds align with approved designs and are delivered with high quality, complete documentation, and a clean handoff to operations. Success is measured by on time delivery, first pass accuracy, and low post go live escalations.

Day to Day:

• Deploy end to end IT infrastructure for construction and transformation projects, including MDF/IDF data rooms, network, servers, endpoints, and voice, in alignment with approved architecture and engineering standards
• Build, stage, commission, and validate single and multi IDF environments, ensuring site readiness, installation accuracy, and standards compliance
• Serve as the on site technical lead, executing infrastructure bring up, resolving issues in real time, and driving quality control through structured validation prior to go live
• Lead and coordinate endpoint deployments and govern vendors and managed smart hands resources, ensuring work meets scope, standards, and first pass acceptance
• Support multiple concurrent sites in a high volume pipeline, maintaining ownership of execution quality, readiness gates, and deployment progress
• Produce complete, high quality deployment documentation (labeling, photos, configs, testing, sign offs) and deliver operational handoff materials within established timelines
• Partner with clinical operations and systems teams to support installation readiness, validation, and go live support for clinical applications and medical devices
• Participate in go live quality control and hypercare, enabling rapid stabilization and a clean transition to operations
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying deployment gaps, updating field standards and checklists, and capturing lessons (RAID tracking) learned to reduce rework and operational risk

• 5+ years experience in field operations/infrastructure engineering roles
• Hands-on experience deploying infrastructure and endpoints across multi-site environments, supporting multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Experience leading technical teams and vendors onsite
• Ability to produce and complete deployment documentation and handoff artifacts within timeline standards.
• Ability to travel 50% nationwide for deployment windows, cutovers, and go-live/hyper-care needs.

• Experience leading operations in hospital environments
