A client of Insight Global is looking to add 2 Data Engineers to their team. In this position, you'll support production environments with a focus on managing data security within the network and security infrastructure. You'll have a deep understanding of logging, monitoring, and alerting systems, performing root cause analysis to maintain reliability. Data pipeline performance tuning will be a key aspect of your role, along with designing, building, and optimizing data pipeline and storage solutions using Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Functions. You'll handle and fix all data failures, ensuring data integrity and availability. Additionally, you'll implement code promotion processes using DevOps tools to facilitate smooth and efficient deployments. Proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark will be essential, as well as experience with Databricks workspace, clusters, and jobs. You'll also be responsible for monitoring and alerting for data pipeline failures, debugging, root cause analysis, and performance bottlenecks, and optimizing and capacity planning for Azure Data Lake.
This role will pay between $12-$14 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Azure production support experience.
Expert understanding of Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Functions.
