A large gaming and entertainment client is looking for a Senior C++ developer to join the team. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain large-scale distributed systems. They will implement features in SDKs used in various games. The role also involves creating sample applications for desktop, consoles, and mobile devices to demonstrate key platform features.
Additionally, the candidate will create unit and integration test code to ensure service reliability. They will write API documentation for game developers and other integrators. Coordination with embedded and external teams is essential. Troubleshooting and debugging issues with live and in-development services are also part of the job.
This role is a 6-month contract with the opportunity to convert. To convert, you must be willing to work Hybrid in Austin, TX.

· 5 years of experience with software development in C++ (Modern C++ preferred)
· Experience building high-quality software
· Excellent communication skills
· Strong data-structure, logic, and algorithm skills
· Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
