Job Description

A customer of Insight Global is looking to hire a Security Analyst to come onboard!

This individual will support enterprise vulnerability management efforts by coordinating remediation activities across multiple engineering teams, validating vulnerability findings, and ensuring compliance with security SLAs. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing vulnerability data, tracking risk exceptions, creating remediation tickets, and communicating status updates to stakeholders and leadership. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working across multiple teams simultaneously, and capable of driving security initiatives without direct authority over remediation owners. Strong communication skills are essential, as this role requires regular escalation management, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.


Day-to-Day Responsibilities
-Review and validate vulnerability findings within Ivanti or similar vulnerability management platforms
-Coordinate remediation efforts across infrastructure, engineering, and operations teams to ensure SLA compliance
-Create and manage Jira tickets for vulnerability remediation activities and track progress through closure
-Submit, monitor, and maintain risk acceptance and exception requests within Archer GRC or comparable platforms
-Maintain vulnerability tracking data and reporting dashboards within Smartsheet and other tracking tools
-Analyze vulnerability reports for duplicates, false positives, missing asset coverage, and data discrepancies
-Produce weekly and monthly status reports for leadership, highlighting remediation metrics, risks, and SLA performance
-Escalate aging findings, remediation blockers, and ownership gaps to appropriate stakeholders while driving resolution

Required Skills & Experience

-3+ years of experience in vulnerability management coordination, IT security operations, or risk management
-3+ years of experience using Ivanti or similar vulnerability management platforms for validation, false positive review, and vulnerability tracking
-Experience with Archer GRC or comparable GRC tools for risk acceptance and exception management
-Experience utilizing Jira for remediation ticket creation, SLA tracking, reporting, and workflow management
-Experience coordinating remediation efforts across multiple technical teams without direct authority
-Strong understanding of CVSS scores, vulnerability lifecycles, remediation processes, and security SLAs
-Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to identify data discrepancies and communicate findings to leadership

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Compensation: $30/hr to $35/hr
**Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
