A US-based healthcare client is looking to bring on a Remote Automation Tester in Latin America! You will be testing Java & React.JS code for new dashboards for an internal health web application in a Java/React.JS/AWS environment. There are about 80 internal employees that are users of this application, and the data does include personal patient information so security policies will be top of mind. It is expected for the Test Engineer to be creating the automation test frameworks from scratch. The intention is for the environment to be as close to 100% automation as possible. Currently, the team does not enforce code coverage, but will be starting around 40% with the goal of building up to 90% over time. The client's development team is required to create their own unit tests and/or integration tests which allows the Test Engineer to focus on functional, integration, exploratory, & (heavy) API testing. The team works in an Agile environment utilizing Git, GitHub, Jira, Confluence, etc. & operates in two-week sprint cycles. In this role, there will be a focus on note taking, documenting, and writing for the client's ticketing system for future reference.
