Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Quality Medical Assistant (Quality MA) that will participate in providing patient care for one of our largest healthcare providers. The ideal resource will be responsible for the below duties:
-Outreach and scheduling for patients post hospitalization
-Maintaining accurate records of all outreaches
-Datamining and record retrieval
-Location and upload of discharge summaries
-Providing patient education on Medication Adherence
NOTE: This is not a patient facing position. The ideal candidate will be based primarily in an office/cubical setting and eager to grow in the operational space.

Required Skills & Experience

-Highschool diploma or GED
-Current BLS Certification (if not certified - must acquire certification within 30 days of hire)
-Current valid driver's license in the State of Texas
-Knowledge of medical terminology, basic computer literacy, and intermediate Excel skills
-Ability to learn quickly and communicate effectively

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Call center/customer service experience
-Any healthcare/patient experience
-Bilingual (Spanish)
-EMR experience (specifically ECW)
-Previous experience working with geriatric patients
