Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to support the ongoing development and expansion of a cutting-edge, on-demand network testing tool. This tool is critical in validating all eligible FIA (Fiber Internet Access) and E-Line circuits through a series of automated processes. With nationwide deployment already in place, this role focuses on increasing the tools coverage by integrating additional vendor-specific devices via Python-based connectors.
Responsibilities:
-Develop and implement Python connectors tailored to various network vendors to enhance the eligibility of network circuits for automated testing
-Collaborate with backend and frontend teams to support the evolution of the testing platform
-Work within a distributed architecture using Django, Celery, and other asynchronous tasking tools
-Assist in migrating the frontend framework from AngularJS to React to improve UI performance and maintainability
-Participate in testing, debugging, and deploying updates to production systems
-Contribute to documentation and best practices for continued platform scalability

Compensation: $35-45/hr
**Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.
