· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or similar)
· In-depth experience with networking security protocols such as IPsec, MACsec, MKA, TLS/SSL, and IKE, including:
o Fundamental understanding of each standard, including their respective use-cases and benefits within the automotive industry
· 8+ years of software development experience
· Object oriented programming and proficiency in C++
· Implementation experience developing software compliant with these standards
· Experience with embedded Linux including developing and maintaining custom Linux distributions and optimizing for performance and security.
· Understanding of good software design and computer architecture principles including:
o Data structures
o Familiarity with embedded, kernel or low level hardware/software integration
o Operating system components and design
· Experience with Agile methodology.
· Experience with testing frameworks.
· Demonstrated ability to:
o Problem-solve effectively - diagnose technical issues and propose reasonable solutions; enjoy problem solving
o Take initiative, be a self-starter, and work independently
o Persistently drive tasks and projects to successful completion
o Take ownership of goals and project schedules
o Listen attentively and grasp fast-paced technical conversations
o Quickly learn applicable technology, systems, and products
o Passion for learning about and working with computer-industry technologies
Strong work ethic and drive to succeed
· Work productively in a team development environment
· Innovative, out of the box thinker.
· Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
· Familiarity with Yocto, OpenEmbedded
· Experience integrating 3rd party and open source IP
· Experience with Azure DevOps
· Experience programming in LabVIEW
Familiarity with NI products
