Job Description
Submit & track permit packages with local municipality – including building, fire, temporary, etc. permits.
File permits submitted immediately following the specified turn-around time.
Communicate clearly and quickly with internal teams about changes to processes or obstacles to workflow.
Communicate directly with jurisdictional officials regarding permits.
Update the internal database, permit trackers, and other spreadsheets throughout the day as updates occur.
Manage and maintain all permit-related documents.
Track due dates and help facilitate permit issuance.
Follow-up on old cases with appropriate departments to move jobs through the permitting process as quickly as possible.
Identify processes for improvement for internal tracking systems and logistics for submissions for permits.
Track and manage all required documentation and project submissions for ADA compliance as required by the state of Texas.

Required Skills & Experience
2+ years relative work experience in the architecture/engineering/construction field
Experience working with construction permits
Highly motivated and proactive
Well-organized and detailed oriented
Excellent team communication skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Bluebeam, Power BI, Microsoft Office Suite
