Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Optical Design Engineer who designs and develops optical systems and components within the novel semiconductor equipment. This includes lenses, mirrors, and other optical elements, as well as the systems that use them, such as cameras, telescopes, and semiconductor imaging equipment. The Optical Design Engineer will use advanced mathematical and computer modeling techniques to design and optimize optical systems for specific performance requirements. They also work closely with other engineers and scientists to integrate optical systems into larger systems and ensure that they meet all necessary specifications and standards.

Required Skills & Experience

5 + years of experience in optical systems design
strong optical coding background
strong understanding of the physical principles of light
Masters degree in Optics or a similar field

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

PHD degree in Optics
Experience working in a research or start-up environment
