Job Description
An Insight Global client is currently looking for a network engineer to join their IT team. This person will be responsible for:
• Own and support the company’s network infrastructure, partnering with an offshore counterpart based in India
• Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise network environments, including switches, firewalls, and WAN/LAN components
• Support connectivity with ISPs and ensure reliable internet and network performance across environments
• Configure and support Meraki-based networking solutions
• Diagnose and resolve network performance issues, outages, and latency concerns
• Collaborate with infrastructure and IT teams to support ongoing network improvements and scalability
• Participate in network upgrades, enhancements, and documentation of environments

Required Skills & Experience
* 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer or similar role
* Strong experience with Cisco Meraki environments
* Proven ability to troubleshoot network performance and connectivity issues
* Experience working with ISPs, circuits, and enterprise internet connectivity
* Solid understanding of firewalls, switches, and network backbones
* Experience owning or heavily supporting network infrastructure in a production environment
* Comfortable collaborating with offshore teams and shared ownership models
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
* Experience with Portnox or similar network authentication services
* CCNA or CCNP certification
* Exposure to or experience supporting networks in AWS environments
* Background working in hybrid or globally distributed infrastructure environments
