Job Description

A large financial client is looking for 2 sr full stack developers to join their team within Cross Enterprise Services. These hires will be joining an existing team working on a new project migrating to GCP while establishing a "crypto backend" project.

This role will be a hybrid opportunity either in Austin or Dallas TX (3 days a week onsite).

These will start out as 6 month contracts but most likely will turn into a 12-18 month contract duration.

Required Skills & Experience

- 7+ years in C#/.NET This is a dealbreaker. The candidate must be rock-solid in backend development with enterprise-grade .NET applications.

- Kafka experience Not just a buzzword; they need to understand distributed messaging systems and event-driven architectures.

- Cloud fluency Hosting apps in GCP is preferred, but AWS/Azure experience may be transferrable if they've worked with containerization and cloud-native principles.

- Database mastery Strong SQL (PostgreSQL/SQL Server) and familiarity with JSON/XML handling in backend workflows.

- Observability patterns Splunk, performance profiling, resiliency design. This points to a need for production-savvy candidates who know how to debug, tune, and monitor scalable systems.

- Docker + Kubernetes Required for building and deploying microservices; ideally with experience running containerized apps in production.

- GCP experience and a true confidence with their prior experience

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- exposure to POCs, prototyping, or leading initiatives involving emerging tools or architectures.

- Team player, this person(s) will be function as high level ICs but will need to be able to work well with others
