Job overview:
Insight Global is looking for a Project Manager to work on site in Austin, TX and support the strategy and introduction of products based on unique and highly differentiated capabilities of a preeminent foundry for semiconductor systems and defense electronics companies. Their mission is to advance the state-of-the-art in critical semiconductor domains such as advanced packaging, and in the process to help restore U.S. leadership in semiconductor manufacturing. They are developing cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing technology that will define future roadmaps of semiconductor devices including logic, memory, 3D packaged devices, including thermal management, etc. This position has a key focus with working with external DARPA stakeholders to ensure the organization is meeting key deliverables and work with cross functional teams to drive performance and meet financial goals.
Responsibilities:
Work with DARPA stakeholders to present payable milestones, monthly presentations on performance, and quarterly reports on deliverables.
Develop, coordinate, oversee, and ensure completion of multiple project task lists and schedules while working with sub awardees (15 -20 companies)
Develops project plans including project life cycle, budgets, resource requirements, change management processes, risk management, key milestones, communication mechanisms, test plans and deliverables.
Implements and recommends policies and procedures to ensure compliance of all applicable laws, University policies, rules and regulations.
Manages project implementation including emergent issues with emphasis on time schedule control to ensure all tasks are completed within established deadlines and budgets.
Prepares detailed reports on project progress with stakeholders and team leads to include project plans, barriers and solutions, milestones, financial costs/projections and analyses.
Coordinate with key stakeholders and team leads to manage scope changes.
Manages, develops, directs and evaluates assigned projects utilizing accepted project management methodologies, communication and consultation with stakeholders and project team members.
Interfaces with facilities and outside contractors to coordinate and manage resources.

Tracks requirements/specifications and changes throughout the product lifecycle.
Other related functions as assigned.
