An employer is seeking an Audio Embedded Engineer in Austin, TX. They will be joining the organizations' video conferencing group focusing on audio related features and enhancements. He or she will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing software features for a A/V collaboration products from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life. The Audio Embedded Engineer will deploy and debug audio systems, develop and engineer audio features, and overall optimize and enhance various audio capabilities. He or she will possess strong Android embedded engineering skills, utilizing C/C++ programing. This role is hybrid onsite at their Austin location as needed. the salary range is $130k-$180k depending on years of experience and feed back from the client.

7+ years of experience in an Android Embedded engineering role
Experience in C/C++ and JAVA development
Audio Experience - Software Testing, Multithread, Debugging, Audio Processing, Realtime Audio Processing, and Echo/Noise Cancellation
Understanding of Tiny ALSA/ Linux Kernel
Familiarity with the Android Media Framework and its application to audio systems
Experience working for PC conferencing company
