Job Description

About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Design Validation Test (EDVT) Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves hands-on testing of cutting-edge networking hardware products, ensuring they meet the highest quality and performance standards. The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of experience in a testing or engineering environment and a passion for learning and contributing to the development of next-generation networking solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
-Perform hands-on electrical design validation and testing (EDVT) of networking hardware, including Ethernet switches, routers, and other related products
-Work closely with design and hardware engineering teams to develop and execute test plans that validate product functionality, performance, and reliability
-Set up and maintain test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, power meters, and thermal chambers
-Conduct tests in accordance with established test protocols, including signal integrity, power integrity, thermal testing, and system-level performance
-Analyze test results, document findings, and generate comprehensive test reports for review by cross-functional teams

Required Skills & Experience

-Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
-1+ year of experience in hardware testing, validation, or related field (internships/co-op experience considered)
-Basic understanding of electrical components, circuits, and hardware design
-Familiarity with testing equipment like oscilloscopes, signal generators, multimeters, etc

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Exposure to networking technologies such as Ethernet, TCP/IP, or data communication protocols
-Good understanding of system-level hardware - CPU, power, clocking, bus architectures (PCIE, USB, I2C)
-Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automating test procedures


Pay Rate between $30-35/hr (based on location and experience)
