Electrical Construction Manager – Electrical Systems (Central Utilities Group) Night Shift
We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to join our Central Utilities Group, overseeing electrical and mechanical infrastructure projects. This role focuses on medium voltage (up to 25kV), 480V systems, and critical mechanical systems supporting central utility operations. The ideal candidate will lead planning, execution, and turnover of construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance.
Responsibilities:
• Manage construction of electrical and mechanical systems in central utility environments.
• Oversee medium voltage and low voltage (480V) electrical distribution upgrades.
• Write and review scopes of work (SOW) and technical specifications.
• Manage contractors and coordinate with internal engineering and facilities teams.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, codes, and operational requirements.
• Track project progress, budgets, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Maintain clear, effective communication across stakeholders and project phases.
Requirements:
• Minimum 8 years of experience managing commercial or industrial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, utility infrastructure, and mechanical integration.
• Proven ability to write scopes of work and manage construction contracts.
• Experience with active facilities and complex infrastructure environments.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to work long hours, with a tenacious and ambitious approach to project goals
• OSHA 30 certification preferred; PMP or equivalent is a plus.
