Role Overview You’ll lead the electrical work on-site for large industrial projects at Tesla—from setup to production launch. This includes managing contractors, coordinating with utilities, and ensuring everything runs safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities • Plan and oversee electrical installations (especially medium voltage systems and substations). • Supervise daily electrical construction activities. • Solve issues to keep the project on schedule. • Ensure safety and compliance with OSHA and electrical codes. • Lead inspections and quality checks. • Manage commissioning and testing of systems (5kV–35kV). • Work with vendors to integrate tools and systems. • Monitor material deliveries and ensure key components are available. Qualifications • 10 years in electrical supervision for industrial projects. • Strong experience with medium voltage systems (5kV–35kV). • Familiar with NEC, IEEE, and local electrical codes.
