Job Description
An Insight Global client is looking for a data loss prevention engineer to join the security team. This person will Work within 2‑week sprints and participate in daily standups; Manage and support DLP operations with a focus on Netskope; Create, deploy, and tune DLP policies across cloud and email environments; Monitor, triage, and respond to DLP alerts and incidents; Handle Tier‑2 escalations (1–5 tickets/day) from help desk and SOC; Troubleshoot false positives, missed detections, and policy gaps. Support incident response and investigations related to data exposure. Manage changes and documentation within Jira
Support Netskope Secure Web Gateway (SWG) and CASB functionality. Deploy and configure Netskope Private Access solutions, including:
○ Policy configuration
○ Use-case testing
○ User support
• Document procedures, incidents, and policy changes clearly for audit and knowledge transfer.

Required Skills & Experience
*5+ years of experience in a security engineering or DLP-focused role
* Hands-on experience with Netskope DLP (primary tool)
* Experience managing:
○ DLP policies
○ DLP alerts and investigations
○ Tokenization, classification, and data protection rules
* Experience with Microsoft 365 email security
* Working knowledge of Secure Web Gateway (SWG) solutions
* Experience supporting production security tools in a ticket-driven environment
* Strong experience with Jira or similar ticketing systems
* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve escalated DLP issues independently
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
* Experience with Zscaler or Forcepoint DLP
* Experience using GenAI tools to assist investigations, monitoring, or incident response
* Familiarity with cloud access security brokers (CASB)
* Experience in regulated environments (financial services, healthcare, SaaS)
* Scripting or automation exposure for policy testing or reporting
