Job Description

Ideal Candidate Profile – Administrative Assistant / CPR Instructor
Core Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
• Highly tech-savvy
○ Must be fully proficient with MacBook & iPad
○ Comfortable working in a paperless environment
○ Uses Google Workspace, email, calendars, scheduling software with ease
○ We are not training someone how to use Apple products
• Independent problem-solver
○ Can read SOPs/guides and figure things out
○ Knows how to look things up before asking questions
○ Understands when to escalate vs handle independently
○ Not someone who needs constant hand-holding or reassurance
• Reliable transportation
○ Must have own vehicle
○ Will transport CPR equipment to/from training sites
○ Comfortable doing site visits and off-site support

Role Breakdown
• 70% Administrative
○ Scheduling students and instructors
○ Answering phones, texts, and emails
○ Managing rosters, records, confirmations
○ Operational follow-through
○ Keeping things moving without constant oversight
• 30% CPR Instructor / Operations Support
○ Teach CPR classes when coverage is needed (training provided)
○ Assist with setup, breakdown, and skills check-offs
○ Support group/on-site trainings

Background Preferences
• Medical or healthcare-adjacent background strongly preferred
○ EMT, medical assistant, scribe, clinic admin, hospital support, etc.
○ Someone who understands clinical environments and urgency
○ We are not starting from zero
• Younger / adaptable mindset
○ Quick learner
○ Comfortable with tech, systems, and change
○ Doesn’t get overwhelmed easily

Personality & Work Style (This matters most)
• Self-directed
• Calm under pressure
• Detail-oriented but not rigid
• Can prioritize without asking permission every 5 minutes
• Understands that guides exist for a reason
• Knows how to think before interrupting
