Insight Global is looking for a Cryptography SME for the cybersecurity organization at one of our large financial clients. This person will be responsible for driving cryptographic policy and strengthening our client's cryptographic environment across the enterprise. On a daily/weekly basis this will involve working with application owners/managers to survey their current environment and provide recommendations and remediations when/where necessary based on how a given application lines up to standard policy. This person will be expected to have a strong, broad understanding of cryptography including data-in-motion, data-at-rest, cryptographic keys, certificates, and hashing/algorithms, and other things within this domain.

- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in cryptography (data-in-motion, data-at-rest, Key Management, PKI, HSMs, keys, encryption/decryption, etc)
- Team-oriented individual with experience working in large teams and projects heavily focused on getting in the weeds and getting the work done
- Strong communication skills
- Familiarity with modern security protocols such as TLS and SSH
- Experience and ability to work with multiple teams and stakeholders including collaborating and driving initiatives over time through meetings, goals and actions
- Familiarity with NIST, ISO, PCI-DSS standards
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Powershell, Python, Perl, JavaScript)
- Post-Quantum computing experience/knowledge (work experience or research-based experience)
