Job Description

This person will play a hands-on role in developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules using Primavera P6. They will be responsible for integrating engineering, procurement, and construction deliverables into cohesive, resource-loaded schedules that support project execution. This includes updating timelines, managing charge codes, and producing Estimate-To-Complete (ETC) and Estimate-At-Complete (EAC) data. While they may not lead Earned Value Management (EVM) strategy, they will support its application by aligning schedules with budgetary estimates and maintaining the Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB). The role also involves working with Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and reporting and occasionally coordinating with financial systems such as PeopleSoft and Deltek Cobra (training available if needed). The scheduler will collaborate closely with technical leads, project managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure schedule accuracy and responsiveness to project changes. Strong communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments with assertive personalities are essential.

Required Skills & Experience

o 3–8 years of relevant scheduling/ project controls construction experience
 Experience supporting full project lifecycle (design through construction)
o Experience developing and interpreting construction and/or engineering schedules.
 Conducting schedule analysis.
 Experience with planning packages and converting them into work packages.
 Working with integrated construction/ engineering schedules.
o Proficiency in Primavera (P6)
o Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, data manipulation)
o Background in engineering, statistics, or analytical domains
o Ability to work with diverse personality types and in high-pressure environments

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

o Experience with Deltek COBRA and PeopleSoft
o Experience with DOE or other government programs
o Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., statistics, engineering)
