Job Description

This person will be responsible for migrating data from production servers to new environments, creating and managing data warehouse tables, and handling import/export operations using SSIS packages. The role involves working heavily with SQL tables, SSIS, and SSRS, with a focus on data movement rather than production server work. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with data transformation, integration, and warehouse design. They will not be working on production servers but will be instrumental in moving and structuring data across systems.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in SQL development, data integration, and architecture
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL, SSIS, and SSRS
• Proven ability to work with data warehouse tables, import/export processes, and ETL tools
• Experience moving data between environments (non-production)
• Willingness to relocate after contract period if not already local
• Ability to work onsite for the first 90 days (hybrid afterward: 3 days onsite / 2 remote)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
(Note: lack of degree may hinder promotion to manager-level roles)
• Experience with data architecture and warehouse design
