This role involves a balanced mix of accounting and technical responsibilities, making it an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys both domains. This role will entail the following:
* Proactively identify areas for enhancement, suggesting configuration optimizations and process improvements that contribute to increased efficiency and productivity
* Collaborate across workstreams to identify and consider cross functional impacts to any design or configuration improvement
* Coordinate and participate in testing of biannual Workday enhancements and upgrades
* Act as a point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving post-implementation issues, implementing quick and effective solutions to minimize disruptions in financial processes
* Assist with overseeing and managing the end-to-end close and consolidation process within Workday Financials, ensuring accurate and timely consolidation of financial data across multiple companies
* Assist with various other corporate accounting responsibilities as assigned

5+ years of experience strong accounting background
Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting for non-profit
BA degree in Accounting
