Job Description
A client in Nashville, TN is seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst role.
Key Responsibilities
• Partner with business stakeholders to define vision, goals, and value propositions for IT solutions
• Elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements; manage stakeholder alignment and approvals
• Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios, ensuring readiness for development and UAT
• Lead and support Agile ceremonies (refinement, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives)
• Analyze current-state processes and design future-state workflows, identifying opportunities for optimization
• Ability to trace data lineage across systems (very relevant to your ROSI/ReVA problem space)
• Experience working with data models, APIs, and integration patterns
• Develop process maps, flowcharts, and documentation to support solution design and communication
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, and product teams to ensure solutions are feasible, well-defined, and aligned to business goals
• Support testing, validation, and user enablement, including training and documentation as needed
• Identify cross-system impacts, dependencies, and risks, and provide recommendations
• Drive continuous improvement, identifying product gaps and leading enhancement efforts
• Monitor and promote effective system usage and adoption across programs
• Coordinate across teams to ensure timely delivery of product milestones and deliverables
• Provide guidance and mentorship on BA best practices, deliverables, and process design
• Maintain strong cross-functional relationships to support ongoing business and product needs

Required Skills & Experience
• 5–10+ years of experience in business analysis, product analysis, or healthcare IT
• Strong experience with SDLC practices and tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.) and Agile/Scrum methodologies, including leading ceremonies
• Proven ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements (features, user stories, acceptance criteria, UAT)
• Strong analytical and technical skills, including SQL and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
• Experience performing root cause analysis and driving issue resolution
• Ability to collaborate with engineering teams to validate feasibility and ensure implementable solutions
• Familiarity with solution architecture concepts and ability to contribute to design discussions
• Strong process design and documentation skills, including professional flowcharting (Visio)
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and critical thinking skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and drive outcomes
• Ability to educate stakeholders on the Business Analyst role and best practices
• Proven collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills across cross-functional teams
