Job Description

The Senior Automation Engineer is responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of automation solutions that improve business processes and operational efficiency. This role involves working closely with stakeholders across IT and business units to deliver high-impact automation projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Design & Development:
Create automation solutions based on business requirements, following established best practices and technical guidelines.

Project Ownership:
Manage automation projects from initial concept through deployment and transition to support teams.

Collaboration:
Partner with IT and Business Operations teams to gather requirements, align on goals, and ensure successful delivery.

Documentation & Testing:
Document solution designs and test plans; perform thorough testing to ensure quality and reliability.

Mentorship:
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.

Communication:
Effectively communicate project status, challenges, and outcomes across technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Skills & Experience

- 7+ years of experience in System Engineering, Automation, or Development
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Automation Tool (UiPath/Automation Anywhere/Blue Prism etc.)
- Intelligent Document Processing
- Use of AI Models in Automation Tools
- AI/AIOps/MLOps using Automation Tools or Azure
- AI Model Training using Automation Tools
- Cloud Computing (GCP, Azure or AWS)
- Scripting (C#, Python, VB etc.)
- Object-oriented programming
- Automation architecture
- REST/SOAP APIs
- Event-driven architecture
- Service Bus architecture

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Cloud Certification (Azure, GCP or AWS) preferred
UiPath Certified Advanced RPA Developer (UiARD) preferred
