• Review and approve journal entries and reconciliations with a focus on identifying and correcting operational slippage.
2. Financial Analysis & Data Forensics
• Conduct detailed variance analysis to identify trends and anomalies; prepare reports that explain discrepancies between actual and budgeted results with root-cause precision.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process by providing data-driven financial insights derived from large-scale system exports.
3. Internal Controls & Professional Skepticism
• Design, implement, and maintain robust internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial data at the Nashville plant.

• Lead the preparation of documentation for internal and external audits, ensuring a comprehensive and transparent audit trail for all financial transactions.
• Liaise with auditors to address queries and proactively implement recommendations to enhance local compliance.
5. Tax Compliance & Reporting
• Assist with the preparation and filing of sales tax and property tax returns, ensuring 100% compliance with multi-state (TN and regional) regulations.
• Ensure proper tax withholding and reporting are completed in accordance with the latest regulatory requirements.
6. Process Improvement & System Maintenance
• Identify opportunities to automate manual accounting tasks through advanced system functionalities or Excel/BI tools.
• Oversee the management of accounting systems to ensure accurate data capture; collaborate with IT and Corporate Finance to enhance system functionality and data mapping.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration
