Employer is looking for a Mid-Level Process Mechnical Engineer sitting in the Central or Eastern Standard Time zones. This individual will be responsible for designing mechanical equipment (pumps, equipment with gears and mechanical components) in a wastewater plant. They will design and prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and technical reports for wastewater projects and lead design tasks. This person will also be responsible for taking charge of design processes, delegating tasks, and working with designers to 3D model process improvements.
A Bachelor's Degree in Environmental, Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering
Water or wastewater treatment experience (8-10 years) from a plant or pump station
PE License or ability to sit for the PE exam
Experience writing and editing equipment and piping specifications
MS Office experience (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
