Job Description

The Manager of Cloud Engineering & Operations is responsible for building and maintaining the SaaS product cloud environments. Reporting to the VP of Infrastructure & Operations, this position will be hands-on in the mix of the work while providing day-to-day guidance to the Cloud Engineers.
Day-to-day:
-Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing direction, strategic guidance, constructive feedback and training
-Be hands-on aiding in the delivery of cloud solutions.
-Partner with the architects and delivery teams to develop and execute a forward-thinking cloud strategy and roadmap in alignment with business goals
-Manage and oversee the delivery and support of cloud solutions utilizing the Microsoft Azure platform
-Ensure optimal performance, availability, and security of systems and applications; promptly address and troubleshoot any issues or incidents
-Collaborate seamlessly with IT leaders and stakeholders, delivering regular reports and updates on infrastructure and support status and progress
-Evaluate and implement innovative technologies and solutions to enhance infrastructure and support capabilities
-Maintain visibility into and help manage cloud spend
-Cultivate an atmosphere that champions customer service and patient satisfaction.
-Pursue continuous learning and skill development pertinent to the position.
-Align with the practice philosophy in patient care.
-Foster cooperative working relationships with colleagues.
-Showcase an ability to multitask effectively

Required Skills & Experience

-Bachelor's in computer science, MIS, or related fields, or equivalent work experience
-Over 7 years of experience in technical and/or leadership roles in IT, with a minimum of 4 years specializing in cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure
-2+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining cloud services in a HIPAA, HiTrust, or equivalently regulated industry
-Proficiency in Microsoft Azure platform and services, backed by relevant certifications (Azure Administrator, Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, etc.)
-Solid grasp of cloud architectures, standards, and security best practices
-Proven track record in project management, including overseeing budgets, schedules, and resources, utilizing tools like Azure DevOps
-Strong knowledge of Azure/AWS cloud services, network/routing, shared storage concepts, and Windows security best practices

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Working knowledge of AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service)
-Experience establishing Monitoring/Alerting, Incident & Problem Management standards
-Self-starter, collaborative, and team-player
