A client is looking for a Junior IT Project Manager with some Project Coordination responsibilities to work on a 6-month contract to hire basis. This person will be responsible for managing and coordinating up to 5 IT initiatives at a time across all IT functions and related business elements. S/he will need to have experience developing schedules and effectively manage all aspects of the projects they support including cost, schedule, scope, quality, and project resources. They will also manage projects to keep milestone activities on track, identify and manage project risks, address any issues, and coordinate appropriate communication. We are looking for a problem solver, who is eager to learn. Lastly, something that is important for this individual to be aware of is every project will have different expectations with how much project management support is required verse how much project coordination support is required, so someone who is flexible to wear multiple hats to support the PMO team is imperative.
