Job Description

We're seeking a Data Processing Specialist to support data entry and documentation management within a capital project management system (CPMS). This role involves entering detailed project information into a two-part system, uploading Excel templates, and organizing documents within CPMS and Microsoft Teams. The ideal candidate is self-driven, highly organized, and detail-oriented, with strong Excel skills and the ability to manage a growing workload. Responsibilities include storing and attaching documents to business processes, maintaining project files, and occasionally interacting with project managers to resolve data-related questions. The role also involves working with project budgets, submitting purchase order requests, and managing fund appropriations based on approved funding.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience in data entry or administrative support

Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including basic formulas, sorting/filtering, and combining data across cells)

Comfortable working with contracts, contract rates, and related documentation

Skilled in Microsoft Word for editing and sending formal letters

Familiarity with Microsoft Teams for document storage and collaboration

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently

Able to read and extract key information from proposals, SOWs, and project charters to input into systems

Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and manage multiple tasks

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with document management systems preferred

Bachelor's degree is a plus
