Job Description

A large hospital corporation is seeking a local .Net Developer to join the team of 2 BizTalk Engineers, 1 Consulting . Net Lead, 1 Business Analyst, 1 Product Analyst, and on/offshore developers. Consulting Application Engineer in the Development Solutions department is responsible for leading development efforts, driving adoption and appropriate use of technology and consulting on internal and external development efforts to ensure code quality and sound architecture. This is a leadership position that assumes the responsibility for project success and the upward development of team members. They are the development team's point of contact that must interface with business partners of varying roles ranging from technical staff to executive leadership. This person will be building automation for interfaces in Meditech (EMR system). Every morning there will be a daily scrum meeting, agile focused environment, work on sprints backlog grooming. This individual needs to be able to work independently, as well with the team. This individual will have the opportunity to work across the enterprise on any automated tasks. The data sets are in OpenShift where they store apps in Docker containers (will be moving to Kubernetes). This group is moving on prem and will not be working in a cloud environment.



* Strategic enterprise planning to align IT software capabilities, policies, and standards with business needs

* Take a lead role on development teams, providing guidance on software architecture, design decisions, and mentoring.

* Working directly with Business Partners to provide guidance on how to design and implement software solutions that solve the business need.

* Develop, propose, and provide guidance on implementation of large IT and Business initiatives.

* Lead evaluations, negotiations and RFPs with internal and external developed software within IT&S guidelines

* Performing development using HCA standards and procedures, maintaining code and version control through Microsoft Team Foundation Server and/or other such tools as needs arise.

* Managing development projects thru inception, elaboration, development, testing, and implementation with the help of other assigned resources. Using various tools: VisualStudio, C#, ASP.NET, MS Biztalk Server, T-SQL, Python, OpenShift

* Completing Unit Testing and participating in Peer/Code Reviews of other developers work

* Providing advanced software development troubleshooting to other development teams.

Required Skills & Experience

7-10 years experience with .Net/C# development -- building .net libraries and writing code -- working in versions 7 and 8

Experience leading teams

Ability to create, maintain and performance-tune MS SQL queries

Experience in Data bases like MS SQL Server, Teradata, DB2, Couchbase and data modeling

Self-motivated

Strong team culture fit

SDLC management through Team Foundation Server

Understanding of Service Oriented, Microservice and Event based Architectures principles

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
