Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager, Indirect Spend to own and mature non‑production sourcing across a highly decentralized environment. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role for a strategic operator who thrives in ambiguity, influences stakeholders, and drives sourcing initiatives from strategy through execution while building a scalable indirect procurement function.

Key Responsibilities:
• Own and manage indirect spend categories
• Lead end‑to‑end sourcing initiatives aligned to business priorities and value targets
• Develop data‑driven category strategies using spend analysis and market intelligence
• Identify and deliver cost savings, consolidation, and process improvements across fragmented spend
• Build and manage a prioritized sourcing pipeline delivering measurable results
• Lead RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, negotiations, and sourcing events with compliant execution
• Manage the full contract lifecycle (MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, pricing) in partnership with Legal
• Partner cross‑functionally to influence buying behavior and drive use of preferred suppliers
• Operate across multiple ERP systems and decentralized procurement environments
• Build foundational sourcing processes, governance, and change management practices
• Manage strategic supplier relationships, performance, and issue resolution
• Provide transparency into spend, savings, and sourcing outcomes
• Support sustainability, supplier diversity, and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
• 8+ years in category management, strategic sourcing, or procurement within a mid‑to‑large organization, with indirect spend categories (operations, logistics, facilities, IT, professional services)
• 3+ years leading, mentoring, or developing procurement professionals
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with eProcurement, contracting, vendor management platforms, ERP systems, and analytics tools (Qlik, Power BI, SaaS)
• Strong understanding of the end‑to‑end procurement lifecycle, governance, and policy
• Advanced analytical, negotiation, contract management, and financial skills
• Proven leadership and influence in cross‑functional environments
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, ethical, and an effective communicator

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• CPM or CPSM certification preferred
