Job Description

A large fortune 250 retail company is looking for a Senior Financial Systems Analyst. As a Sr. Financial Systems Analyst on this financial systems and analysis team, you will integrate business processes to create value through improved business performance and improved decision support in compliance with business policy and regulatory requirements. You will recommend and implement technology-based business solutions, conduct research, and document business requirements, processes, and system specifications in collaboration with IT. Additionally, you will provide process improvement, analytical, and reporting services to support business initiatives.
The initiative that is currently running is a new ERP implementation. Currently this team is in the design phase. The team is designing detail with processes - that will continue through the next 6 months and then testing will follow.
This group is customer focused - customer is internal business teams. They are transitioning from stores correctly, Applying cash, Customer requests, Statement processes, and End to end supporting operations b2b.
Define, document, design, develop, analyze, and implement technologies related to business functional needs.
Collaborate with business teams to define business and technical processes that support business goals and initiatives.
Ensure the quality of application design, project tasks, project completeness, project requirements, application test plans, and adherence to development standards.
Support day-to-day operations for exception handling and scheduling automated processes according to a fiscal calendar.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems (MIS), or equivalent practical experience
3–5 years of hands-on experience configuring and implementing ERP modules within the Order-to-Cash (O2C) workstream
3-5 years of experience with gathering and documenting business requirements
Proficiency in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) - Planning and Modifying
SAP S/4Hana experience
SQL experience
