Job Description
Our client is seeking a Graphic Designer to join their creative team on a contract basis for an initial 6+ month engagement, with the potential for extension. This role will support a wide variety of internal stakeholders and creative initiatives while covering for a team member on leave. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives with autonomy, can manage multiple projects simultaneously, and is confident serving as both a designer and trusted creative partner to stakeholders.
This is a highly collaborative yet independent role where success requires strong design expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage priorities without traditional project management oversight.
Design and develop a variety of branded marketing and communications materials including:
One-pagers
Annual reports
Presentation templates
Brand collateral
Creative suites and campaign assets
Digital and print materials
Interpret and apply brand guidelines across multiple projects and audiences to ensure consistency and quality.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities and deadlines.
Work directly with project requesters and internal stakeholders to understand business objectives and recommend creative solutions.
Communicate project updates, timelines, and status directly to stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of a project.
Utilize sound design judgment when selecting imagery, layouts, and visual elements, explaining design rationale and recommendations to stakeholders.
Support template development and design work within Canva, Adobe InDesign, PowerPoint, and other design platforms.
Collaborate with the creative team, including graphic designers, UI/UX designers, and communications partners.
Manage and prioritize incoming work through Zendesk and other project intake channels.
Leverage AI tools appropriately to improve efficiency and workflows while ensuring all final deliverables meet brand and quality standards.

Required Skills & Experience
4+ years of professional graphic design experience.
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work, including:
Brand identity systems
Marketing collateral
Template creation
Multi-page publications and/or annual reports
Creative campaigns
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including:
Adobe InDesign
Photoshop
Illustrator
Experience designing within Canva and Microsoft PowerPoint.
Ability to manage multiple projects independently with minimal supervision.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working in fast-paced environments with multiple concurrent requests.
Ability to organize work, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Agency experience managing multiple clients or competing project requests.
Experience supporting large in-house creative or marketing teams.
Video editing experience.
Experience creating content for multilingual audiences, including Spanish-language materials.
Bachelor's degree, MFA, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
