Job Description

One of our large clients is seeking a Program Coordinator to support their Health Systems Unit program.

This person will be responsible for SJCARES Systems is a tool suite designed to appraise the health systems environment to scale-up childhood cancer control via systems strengthening and optimize sustainable interventions for children with cancer across national, regional, and global contexts. As part of SJCARES Systems, the Country Collaboration for Childhood Cancer Control (C5) tool was developed by the Health Systems Unit (HSU) to foster collaboration for stronger systems and integration of childhood cancers and catastrophic conditions in national priorities. The C5 tool has been successfully implemented in diverse settings and its findings have been used to strengthen national cancer control plans/policies and programmes, identify priorities for funding and connect stakeholders.
Tasks include:
Creation and Maintenance of C5 Data Visualizations, and C5 Data and Document Repository
Create and update data visualizations from C5 data gathered and co-designed with global collaborators, including maps and graphics to make data accessible and useful to varying audiences, and support geospatial analyses and dashboards
Maintain updated, harmonized set of C5 summary materials, ensuring clarity, effectiveness, and consistency. Review findings from previous C5 implementation and produce appropriate data products from findings; improve existing products.
Create, consolidate and maintain materials to clarify processes and workflows to support teams with C5 implementation, including incorporating PowerPoint presentations, reports, spreadsheets, graphic and text data with templates and sample data to guide C5 use in different settings
Create a well-structured standardized data repository of materials used in C5 implementations. The repository will include internal documents for HSU, and those ready to re-share with local and/or global collaborators. The repository will include finalized documents, as well as dynamic working documents/templates that require versioning and updating over time.

Coordination of C5 Implementation and Dissemination
Create and help implement materials to monitor and track progress to help follow-up with teams during and after completion of C5.
Coordinate and document action points from C5 planning/review meetings for C5 implementation; respond to queries from country teams.
Coordinate and organize C5 workshops (preparing agendas, invitations, facilitating activities, etc.)
Create other C5 materials to support manuscripts, reports and presentations.

HSU Systems Support Tasks
Assist with ad-hoc health systems related activities between HSU and in-country partners.
Assist with health systems related tasks associated with HSU as coordinating body for the World Health Organization Collaborating Centre.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors Degree
3 years of project management experience
Experience working with global partners, world health organization or related
Experience creating or working with data visualizations

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Fluency in a second language preferred

Experience in an international setting and with project management methodologies preferred

Supervisory and/or team coordinator experience preferred

Clinical background is preferred, research experience is a plus
