Job Description

One of our large healthcare partners is seeking a long-term contract Physical Therapist to join their team. This individual will be responsible for but not limited to -
1. Administrative tasks including clinical documentation and billing
2. Attending meetings
3. Direct patient care
4. Efficiency and Effectiveness:

Efficiently and effectively utilizes time and resources.
Participates in performance improvement activities for clinical services.
Ensures patients have access to all necessary appointments.
Professionalism:

Respects patients, families, staff, and visitors.
Adheres to ethical and professional standards.
Education and Training:

Completes annual education requirements.
Assesses personal learning needs and collaborates with senior therapists to develop a plan.
Supervises clinical observers, students, interns, and volunteers as directed.
Integrates cultural needs and learning preferences into care plans.
Involves patients and families in therapeutic education and evaluates the effectiveness of learning.
Participates in educational in-services within and between departments.
Evidence-Based Practice, Research, and Program Development:

Applies evidence-based practice principles to make informed decisions about evaluation tools and intervention techniques with guidance from senior therapists.
Contributes ideas and participates in the planning, development, and implementation of programs, education, and research initiatives as directed.
Attendance:

Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
Other Duties:

Performs additional duties as assigned to meet departmental and institutional goals and objectives

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors in science
2 years of experience +
Pediatric patient experience highly preferred
CEU certification
TN State licensure for PT
Valid drivers license

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Doctorate in Physical Therapy
