Insight Global is seeking an onsite Medical Office Assistant for a Nephrology Medical Clinic in Memphis, Tennessee. The primary purpose of this role is to maximize provider schedules, and ensure all necessary documentation and paperwork is present and up to date in the system allowing patients to have the best experience possible. The main responsibilities include answering incoming phone calls, entering data into Epic, and then calling patients to make initial contact to help schedule appointments. This person will also be responsible for coordinating with office providers to ensure all documentation is sent over, maintaining patient accounts, and optimizing the patient experience by verifying benefits, explaining patient coverage, as well as reviewing treatment plans fee and payment options. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about the medical industry and is comfortable with other office clerical duties such as data entry, filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing. This will be 80% administrative + 20% clinical. The hours will be Monday- Friday 8:30AM-5:30PM!

1+ year of experience as a clinical office assistant or medical assistant
Previous experience processing insurance verifications and treatment plans
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as customer service/phone skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to work well in a fast-paced, ever changing environment
