Job Description

IFF is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer specializing in power distribution systems for their Memphis manufacturing facility. This full-time role is critical to ensuring the reliability, safety, and optimization of electrical transmission and distribution infrastructure supporting 24/7 manufacturing operations. The engineer will drive system reliability improvements, lead maintenance optimization initiatives, and provide technical expertise for complex industrial power systems. This requires to be on site 5x a week from 7am to 4:30pm.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in an industrial environment
Expertise in power distribution design and maintenance
Advanced knowledge of NEC, OSHA, and industrial codes
Proficient in electrical design software (CAD, ETAP, MATLAB, Simulink, SolidWorks) and MS Office
Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

PE license
CMRP, CRL, or RMIC certification
Chemical manufacturing experience
Predictive maintenance certifications (ultrasound, vibration, infrared, MCA)
SAP Plant Maintenance experience
Capital project management background experience
Experience with protective relaying and arc flash analysis
