Job Description

We are currently seeking Commercial Lenders to join our team. This role requires a proven track record of consistent, high-dollar commercial loan production and middle-market experience. You must be an assertive self-starter with a professional demeanor and strong sales and business development experience to prospect for new relationships using local networks and personal connections.



Responsibilities:

o Aggressively solicit and generate new commercial loan business while expanding existing commercial customer relationships

o Develop relationships with various community and professional organizations as a source of new commercial loan activity

o Manage a commercial lending portfolio with moderate oversight support from management

o Identifies & analyzes markets, including middle markets, to develop prospects for commercial banking.

o Preparation of an annual business development strategy plan based on predetermined goals and objectives.

o Proven track record of setting and meeting strategic goals.

o Ability to build relationships with clients and internal partners and influence others without direct control.

o Processes commercial loans and analyzes and screens loan requests for all types of loans.

o Gathers related financial and general business information, performs financial analyses needed to make credit decisions, participates in team credit decisions, and communicates with prospects and customers to close sales.

o Analyzes the credit history of applicants and determines their loan repayment capabilities.

Required Skills & Experience

o Minimum of 3 years' experience underwriting, structuring, covenanting, risk-rating and pricing simple and complex commercial loan transactions

o Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field preferred

o Ability to read, analyze and interpret business, professional, technical or government documents

o Ability to write reports, loan memorandum and business correspondence

o Must possess strong written, credit analysis and verbal communication skills with individuals at all levels, internally and externally.

o Must be pro-active and constructive in making credit decisions with ability to influence others with fact-based insights.

o Demonstrated experience presenting and working with Executive Management, Board of Directors,

o and Regulators.Strong organizational, reasoning and communications skills.

o Thorough understanding of credit principles.

o Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

o Experience managing a commercial loan portfolio of a minimum of $100 million dollars.

o Mastery of the technical requirements of analysis.

o Experience generating and handling new commercial loans of $1,000,000 or more.
