Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Facilities Engineer/Mechanical Engineer to support an automotive client in the Maryville, TN area. This person will be joining a facilities maintenance organization and will be responsible for completing a number of mechanical projects in support of the growth, renovation and expansion of the campus. This role will entail:
• Review mechanical systems for construction projects and provide updates or direction for HVAC, compressed air, and cooling/chilled water systems
• Provide direction on mechanical issues with existing equipment and support Facilities Maintenance in related activities
• Maintain and update existing mechanical specifications
• Oversee safety on active projects
• Provide communication and updates on active and pending projects
This role is going to require a high level of multi-tasking and this person will be navigating a large workload of up to 20+ active jobs/projects ranging from small & quick turn around to large long-term projects. The schedule of this role is Monday – Friday 7-4pm onsite, with a weekend rotation once every 6 weeks and potential for holiday work to support projects.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelors degree in engineering; preferrable mechanical engineering
5 years of experience with mechanical engineering
Comprehensive mechanical aptitude: understanding of and experience handling HVAC sizing of units, installing & replacing units, exhaust sizing, etc
Ability to mult-task well and manage a high volume project work load – 10-20+
Well spoken and ability to communicate with stakeholder and leaders clearly
Ability to work weekend rotations once every 6 weeks
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering
