Job Description

Applies engineering physics, mathematics and materials science principles to support the design, analysis, manufacture, or maintenance of aero-thermal and mechanical systems. May develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of complex and challenging problems. Works independently with guidance and actively contribute to an integrated design team.

Required Skills & Experience

2+ years of experience in an engineering design role

Experience creating and releasing engineering drawings

Experience using structured hardware development processes

Knowledge of 3D CAD design software

Knowledge of ASME Y14.5 Geometric, Dimensioning, and Tolerancing principals

Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

Bachelor's degree

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

xperience interpreting, creating, and using Engineering Drawings

Experience conducting thermal or structural analysis

Experience using ASME Boiler Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC)

Experience conducting or interpreting aerothermal analysis

Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering tools

Knowledge of systems engineering principles

Knowledge of ASME Y14.5 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing principals

Master's degree
